I have a habit of getting all the achievements in Saints Row games, and Saints Row 4 is no exception. Most of the ones this time are pretty straightforward and self-explanatory, except for this one - Epic Jump Quest. I got this one yesterday and figured I'd share my tips.
The open world aspects of Saints Row 4 and the speed at which you unlock new stuff to do means that you're always asking yourself "What should I do next?" The rate at which you gain new powers and abilities means that if you pick the wrong activities or bonuses early, you may find yourself working way too hard on a particular challenge that becomes trivial in the late game. In our "Early Game" guide, I'll share the lessons we learned from the early game, and give you some direction on how to get over the initial hump and become the badass Saints Row 4 hero you need to be.
If you shop right, $5 buys a lot of game. But what games should you pick up, and which should you avoid? Cult of the Fiver attempts to answer this question and help you sort the good from the mediocre.
Here we are again, at Candy Crush level 97. As the level number goes higher, so does the difficulty. I've had to publish three articles about Candy Crush Saga levels since level 90 - one for level 93, then level 95, and by request, here's a guide to Candy Crush level 97.
While a guide in its own right, this is actually part two of our Candy Crush Saga Special Candies Guide. Hit "Prev" to view the first page if you missed it.
At face value Candy Crush Saga special candies seems pretty straightforward, but the longer you play the more important it is the you understand exactly what each of them does. On some of the harder levels using a special candy, or sometimes multiple special candies, is required for you to win. As such, becoming an expert at the special candy creation strategies is essential. The challenge isn't over once you've acquired the special candies either, because you'll need to consider how to maneuver them into the best position for use, including positioning and use for special candy combos. Once you've mastered these strategies for special candy creation, maneuvering, and use of special candy combos you'll be able to take on any of the toughest Candy Crush Saga levels (with a little luck :) ).
There's been a lot of talk lately about role models in gaming, especially regarding positive female role models. The 2012 Tomb Raider was both praised and criticised for its character arc, in which Lara Croft goes from naive to deadly through the course of the game. More recently, Volition's Associate Producer Kate Nelson gave an interview where she spoke about the positive female role model options in Saints Row 4:
Candy Crush Saga is infamous for its challenging levels, and EBongo had warned me of the particularly high difficulty of Candy Crush Saga level 95. I hit it today and managed to get past it, using my keen eye for game strategy which I am far too humble to brag about. (FYI: I'm awesome.) Having returned from the depths of level 95, I've distilled my expertise into this guide, which I hope will get you over the "Candy Crush Saga Last Level of the Episode" hump and back to the "easier" levels that lie beyond.
Candy Crush Saga level 92 completely wiped the floor with me for a good long time. I blew dozens of lives here trying to get past it, but I finally did it! Want to learn my secrets so you too can clear Candy Crush Saga level 92? Of course you do! Otherwise you'd be looking at funny pictures of cats instead of reading this article. I don't want to cut into your funny-cat-picture time, so let's get this guide rolling.
So, Backflip sold a controlling interest to Hasbro. You might find that interesting. I think it means collectible DragonVale figures may be in our future... but despite pleas from agent86ix and I, I don't think Nerf Bow and DragonVale is ever going to be a reality. Even still, a new gemstone dragon, at a discounted price, makes for some good entertainment in the mean time.
